Steve's first trip since returning to the East coast.

Herb shows up at Zee's with a weight-lifting belt for Dave - extra back support.

During checkout at Zee's, Davis at the cash registers, mentions to someone sitting at the counter, "if you're going to stare at me, the least you can do is say hello!"

Dave pulls in gear on a nice pink sled - bad back.

Tent pairings - Mike and Tim, Steve and Murray, Dave and Bob D., Bill and Tom, and Mark by himself.

Once again, this turns out to be the best campsite yet! Plenty of wood, easy water, nice view of brook from fire pit, reasonable hike in.

Davis has M80's.

Halfway through the first day, Steve comments on how he can't believe the trip has become a "two bottle" trip.

Davis get's Tim upset by taking Tim's foot log -- Tim makes mistake by making a big deal of it.

The majority of discussion this year, was Davis' whining about how cold he was and that he was going to return a day early.

The end plug of an M80 "shoots" Mike in the back -- It hurt!

Dave & Mark take a day hike to recover a bottle of SO-CO left behind in 1989. Steve, believing he is a magician, makes the contents of the bottle disappear.

Mark and Dave bring in a live (not for long)
rabbit. Knowing it's fate, the rabbit tries desperately to escape at beginning of trip. They have constructed a harness for the rabbit. Their intention is not to have to carry their food in. It will walk in. Right! The rabbit escapes the harness and runs under the truck. They have to retrieve it and stuff it into its own feed bag..

Along with the rabbit, ingredients for a stew are brought along. Dave does in the rabbit. Tommy and Murray are present. Murray saw enough -- he leaves. The stew is cooked all day long. Every once in a while, Steve (unbeknownst to others) dips his cup into stew and enjoys the broth. "Foo-Foo" stew is on the menu that night.
