I have been winter camping since 1983. The "guys" I go with are friends, acquaintances and other assorted beings. Unbeknownst to them, I had kept a written journal of the antics, happenings, and other associated "stuff" that occurred on these trips. I had let it be known to my camping comrades, that I was in possession of these stories a few years ago. They were able to fill in with things that I had missed. I now, with the assistance of Carol, make these available to all that have similar interests. These are presented for your reading pleasure. There are many "colorful" references that are included in the name of "having a good time". In no way are they meant to offend anyone. Please view them in the humorous mode they are intended.

This is a collection of Winter Camping Stories from the diaries of Mike Rockwood. Every year since 1981 a group of boys (now men) started a tradition of trudging into the wilderness in the winter months for a weekend away from work and wives to enjoy the brisk, clean air of the mountains of New Hampshire. Each year upon returning from the campout, Mike would note what went on that year and this became somewhat of a diary. So here are the stories as these guys remember them. Enjoy!

To the participants of all these stories: Without you "guys", none of these good times would have been had. Thanks to all of you.
