Eric Robert is a self-taught pianist, and is gaining quite a following in the Northwest US.
Currently, he's full-time keyboardist for former Moby Grape front-man Jerry Miller, who was recently named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one the top-100 guitarists of all time

While studying for his Masters Degree, Eric won several regional music talent competitions and went on to compete as one of America’s top ten collegiate performers.
Eric gained national recognition for playing his rendition of the US Anthem "The Star Spangled Banner" which he performs with Idaho-based soprano sax player Sean Wilson.
Some of the venues the duo performed in the past include dozens of pre-game events for Seattle Mariners Baseball, for the Seattle Supersonics, and the Seattle Seahawks.
He even arranged and played the Chinese National Anthem for the 2002 Winter Olympics, and was invited to kick off the 1997 Copper Bowl with his version of the Anthem.
He also performed for the 2002 World Wrestling Championships.

Eric continues to come up with new ideas for the piano…including rhythmic string muting, where he reaches into the piano and mutes a string for a rhythmic effect during a song.
In addition to grand piano performance, Eric also incorporates synthesizers for B-3 organ, rhythm sounds and orchestral strings for additional dimension to his creative and spontaneous talent.

Eric studied at Brigham Young University, and at Cambridge, in England. He holds a Masters in Public Administration.

Eric speaks Italian fluently, Mandarin Chinese, Afrikaans and Korean. He also teaches Italian and does corporate technical translation. Eric volunteers as a teacher of English as a Second Language at the University of Washington.
