A Photographic exhibition about the Cape Verdean-American experience.
It takes you on a journey across the archipelago of Cape Verde
and it includes some interesting insight into the Cape Verdean-America experience.

"It is a look inside the faces and places of Cape Verdeans."

"With The Wind At Our Backs" features all original photographs in both color and black & whites images.

One of the featured photographs is an unusual montage of forty-nine individual prints of faces from the Cape Verdean-American community.

Come and share the experience of Cape Verde: the Millicent Library in Fairhaven during the month of April; the Fall River Heritage State Park, during the month of May; the Southworth Library of Dartmouth during the month of June and Artworks! at Dover Street in New Bedford during the month of July

The illustrated work of Eden Soares will be exhibited at Fall River, Dartmouth and New Bedford. Archival photographs depicting Cape Verdean-American history will also be seen at the locations listed below.
