As its popularity continues to grow, Chryslers at Carlisle, now known as the All-Chrysler Nationals, drew lots of finned cars to this small town in Pennsylvania. Individuals from all over the country and even overseas came to enjoy unusually good weather during this mid-summer ritual for us lovers of all things Chrysler.

Tom Mitchell's Amazing 58 Plymouth Convertible Restoration
Before After
At right, Tom Mitchell explains how he took the rusted out hulk of a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere convertible that you see in the photos on the left and turned it into the prize-winning car that is pictured on the right. He decided to restore this car because it is an original red car that was equipped with the high compression 350 Golden Commando engine, which was an option for that year. This four-year project involved several rust-free parts cars that acted as donors for the replacement of most of the sheet metal, including the entire rear clip.
