As you can see from the photo at left, the seats
were in bad shape. One of the first restoration efforts on my 58 Plymouth was
reupholstering the seats. Original Auto Interiors in St. Clair, Michigan, assembled
seat covers from the original vinyl and cloth that were ready to install. Al's Antique
Auto Upholstery, West Hartford, CT, took on the task of installing the covers. All photos
on this page are from 1988 - 89, shortly after I purchased the car. |
