The 1998 WPC National Convention in Portland, Oregon, was an excellent excuse for me to take my initial trip out to
the Pacific Northwest. This was the first leg of a vacation that would eventually wind up in Seattle. There were many
finned Mopars that I had never seen or heard about on display at the show. And of course, lots of new Mopar-holics. Having
recently joined the Forward Look Mailing List, I had a chance to
associate the faces with some of the folks I had been chatting with
over the past year. For me, the highlights of the convention were
the paddle boat ride along the Columbia River following an
incredible dinner of fresh grilled salmon. And of course the show
on Saturday. When I arrived in Seattle a week later, I hooked
up with some of the folks I met at the convention. Lots of great memories ! |
