Game One - Stanley Cup Finals
Tonight is game one of the Stanley Cup Finals with the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Carolina Hurricanes. Unfortunately, I can't get behind either team. My Red Wings were taken out of the running by the Oilers, so there's part of me that would like to be able to say "at least they were beaten by the best". Of course there's also part of me that would take great pleasure in seeing the Canes kick the living crap out of the Oilers. As for the Canes, there's the local tie with the Plymouth Whalers and their owner Peter Karmanos Jr., of Compuware.
So who am I rooting for? Neither team. I just hope to see some good hockey and hope that it goes the full seven games. May the best team win.

Tommy sent me! :)
I am with you and not being able to get behind either team. Being from Phoenix, my team never even got to the playoffs.
Thanks for stopping by tj.
I suppose we can always look forward to next year for the Coyotes and the Wings to do better.
