Busch Gardens
August 13 –
August 16, 2008

This was a short trip to see Busch
Gardens in Tampa. The weather wasn't great, but we managed to do
everything we wanted.
Cruise 2008
This trip was sponsored by the
Plantation Softball Association - spearheaded by Jacqui. It was a 7 day, western
Caribbean on the Carnival Freedom.

Cruise 200 7
This is a trip we've wanted to do for some time. A 1 3 day cruise to British Columbia and Alaska. We boarded the
Celebrity Infiniti in San Francisco. It was a great trip. Click on Infinity to
read all about it.
Cruise 200 5
This is a trip we've
wanted to do for some time. A 15 day cruise with 10 of those days "at
sea." We boarded the Island Princess in Los Angeles, crossed the Pacific to
Hawaii and then cruised back. It was a great trip. Click on the Island Princess
to read all about it.
November 2004 - We took a trip to the
great southwest. We visited "The Snowbirds" in Lake Havasu City and --

We took a trip from Florida to Blacksburg, VA for the
May 15th, 2004 graduation of our daughter Debby. She became Doctor Debby as she
graduated from The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
Needless to say - we are very proud.

Cruise 2004
This is a trip that was planned by The Plantation at
Leesburg Activities office with Small World Tours. There were 230
Plantation residents on this cruise. It was our first time cruising with Costa.
It was great! Click on the picture of The Atlantica to read all about it.
Branson
Missouri, 2003
Our trip to Branson was an Escorted Motor Coach
Tour. It was arranged by Small World Tours and The Plantation of Leesburg
Activities Office. It was our first trip of this type - including many hours on
a bus. Click on the map of Branson to read all about it.
Cruise 2002
This trip included many firsts and some things that
were very familiar. It was our first Carnival Cruise, our first out of Port
Canaveral and our first cruise in December. We went with 10 other people from
our community - The Plantation at Leesburg - and did almost everything with
another couple. It was a wonderful cruise. Click on the picture of The Pride to
read all about it.
Bob and I have taken our second trip to
Cottonwood Cove, April 15 - 22, 2002. To read all the misadventures, click on
the logo.

Our spring vacation in 1999 was an 11 day cruise
through the Panama Canal. It was an outstanding trip. If you're interested in a
"Journal" of our trip, click the picture of "The Vision of the
Seas."

Our
spring vacation in 2000 was an 11 day cruise that is called "Circle the
Caribbean." It was an outstanding trip also. If you're interested in the
"Journal" of this trip, click the picture of "our formal photo
with the Splendour of the Seas."

We had planned a summer, off season, Aruba
Trip for the first week of July, 2000. Coincidentally, it turned out to be our
"Retirement Celebration Trip." It was an excellent week and - as usual
- I kept a journal of our daily activities. Click on Aruba to be transported to
that Island.

We've visited Disney World many times since
Linda dragged me down there 12 years ago. We've enjoyed every trip.
This year, 2000, we stayed at "The Yacht Club" and again had a
wonderful time. Click on Mickey to see our journal of the trip.

We took our spring 2001 vacation, another
Panama Canal cruise with Royal Caribbean. This time it was the Inaugural Cruise
for The Radiance of The Seas. It was great. I haven't finished my journal for this trip. Stand-by
:)
