Don't complain to me if they get lost in the mail... blame the United States Postal Service. "Mom," Lindsey Willows screamed across the house. "Have you seen my red crayon?" Catherine headed for the living room. "Why would I know where your crayons are?" Lindsey shrugged her shoulders. "You are a CSI." Holding up her picture, "How do you like it?" Catherine stared at the drawing for a while. "It's nice. What made you think of that?" Lindsey grinned. "The teacher wanted us to draw a Christmas song. Mine's I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus." Catherine chuckled, "That's nice, Linds. But how come Santa looks like Uncle Gil?" Lindsey smiled a "cat-that-ate-the-canary" smile and left the room. |
