How to Earn Neopoints? A beginners Guideby rosecrimsonA lot of people ask how do you earn neopoints? Or post I'm poor can you help? If you are visiting the Soup Faerie on a regular basis or are new to Neopets than this article is for you. This article outlines a series of ideas you can do to help you earn Neopoints (nps). These are not the only way to earn neopoints, but hopefully this will help you get started. Remember, actually doing this is completely up to you. First, I would suggest that you open a shop. Yep. Become a shopkeeper. But why? you ask. Later in this guide, you will begin to acquire items. If you have a shop, you can sell those items and make nps. I would suggest that you start small. It does no good to have a huge shop, but nothing to put in it. Second, be sure to do your daily activities. What are daily activities? These are things you can do some of the earn you either items or neopoints. But beware, some of the freebies can also earn bad things such as illnesses for your pet. You can access my daily page here. Some of the daily's are free...some cost some nps. So you've done your daily links and have acquired some items. This is good. But because they were free, don't expect to have something there worth a million nps. Next step is to stock your items in your shop. You can either click each item in your items area and send it to your shop. Or you can use the quickstock link. Either way, be sure you are sending the items to your shop. After getting the items there....use the shop wizard and price the items accurately. This requires refreshing some, because the shop wiz only scans a small area of Neopia at a time. (This is for the regular wizard, Super Shop Wiz (SSW) scans everything in Neopia) This is very important!!! I go into a lot of shops that have strawberry jelly priced at 1000 nps each. Sorry, but that is way too expensive. Now run over to the bank and open a bank account!!!! Once some of your items start to sell, your not going to want to run around with all those nps in your pockets. Once you start to sell some items, put half of your neopoints from your shop in the bank, and restock your shop with the other half. There are also random events that can snatch some of your nps. Besides, one of your daily acts should be to go and collect your interest from the bank. Now everything has been priced and your bank account is open. What do you do now? Play games!!! Yep. Go and have some fun. Because every time you submit a game score, you earn nps. Now you might not earn a lot. But it's still more than you had before. At the end of this article, I will list some simple games. And shadevari earns his nps a different way...and he tells us about it here. Now a few more suggestions...be aware of half priced day. What is half priced day? The third of each month Neopian shopkeepers lower their prices to half of what they usually are. (Please note this is Neopets created shops not other users) Know what items usually sell for before you go shopping!!! Prices will drop after half priced day but this will get you a general idea. Avoid going to the Auctions unless you really know what items are selling for!!! A lot of users put items up for really high prices hoping you won't notice. This doesn't break any Neopets rules I am aware of but you definitely don't want to find out that Secret Lab Map piece is only worth half of what you paid. Trades can be a good thing...but make sure you use the shop wiz to ensure a great deal!!! Remember, on regular shop wiz refreshing is necessary!!! Shopping sprees although fun are a good way to ensure you don't have any neopoints. Be sure to limit these. Now you at least have a few neopoints, and can start saving for the items you really want.
