I'm a one-woman business, doing all product design, fabric selection and sewing myself. I've been sewing since I was six years old and have run my own business for more than 30 years. My personal style is strongly influenced by the atmosphere my paternal grandmother created in her home. It was warm and friendly, filled with antique china and richly detailed textiles. I learned to appreciate a particular style of beauty at an early age.

Today, to make my sachets and some pillows, I use vintage linens I've collected for years. I frequent fabric stores, antique stores, flea markets, and any other source for bark cloth, decorator fabric, old buttons, or trims. There are countless choices of fabric out there, but I always gravitate toward mixing the old and the new in subtle and soothing palettes.

Fabrics: Content, care and availability

Table linens, travel accessories, aprons, and many pillows are made using only the finest cottons and linens available, in decorator fabrics. Your favorites are my favorites: Waverly, Fifth Avenue, Covington, and Laura Ashley, just to name a few.

All products should be gentle, cool washed and line dried for maximum life expectancy.

APRONS

SKIRTS

All my skirt patterns are fashioned in the classic A-line style -- the most flattering cut for all women. The waist is a bias turn with a side zipper, for a smooth fit at the tum. Lengths are over-the-knee or mid-calf, and all skirts are guaranteed to twirl. A "must" for the little girl in all of us.

Great to wear with sandals and a tank top or T-shirt in warm weather. For cooler weather, try boots or leggings, with sweater sets.

Hand or gentle cool wash. Hang to dry. Sizes XS-XXL.

Handkerchief hem -- Made from vintage tablecloths and delightful new fabrics, with borders. All have a button for trim at the sides. $65.

Six-panel gore skirt -- Fashion-forward and fun! Longer length for those who prefer more coverage. The best choice for taller gals. $75.

Pom-Pom skirt with ruffle -- Flaired and flirty! A playful and spunky number that always gets noticed. $70.

Smooth-bordered skirt -- Full, with a more tailored finish. A button, braid or ribbon adorns the border's top edge. $75.
