So you want to throw ice cold snowballs at your friends?  Here's how!

INTRODUCTORY NOTE: To the best of my knowledge, only premium and platinum members may play in the snow and only in Frostacres. You must be in the room described just to the right in order to access the snow.

NOTE:  The mound of snow is no longer in that room as of this date, Jan. 3, 2002.  Unless it has been moved to another room, the snow verbs are no longer active!

NOTE:  Sometimes the snow verbs are accessible on rare occasion in Icemule Trace and also during Thrakmas, but specific times and specific locations are unpredictable.

 [Frostacres, Merchant Landing]
Thin veniom-covered wires zigzag overhead, tied in various places to a sturdy modwir fence that surrounds the area. Numerous divots in the grass tell the tale of the many tents that have been pitched here, and wheel ruts speak of the many merchants who have stopped their wagons here to hawk their wares. A modwir hitching post sticks out of the ground in the northwest corner of the area, rope marks etched into its wood by years of abuse from the animals that have been tied there. You also see a mound of snow, a simple tent and a wooden gate.

GET SNOW

(Note that before you can do any other snow command, you will always have to GET your snow.)

 You scrape around and gather up a handful of snow. Eratika scrapes around and gathers up a handful of snow.
DROP SNOW The handful of snow falls apart into tiny pieces of ice that melt on the ground. Eratika drops her handful of snow to the ground where it breaks into quickly melting pieces.
EAT SNOW You bite into your handful of snow and a chunk of snow comes off. The coldness of it causes your teeth to almost shatter. The rest of the snow slips through your hand and falls to the ground. Eratika eats her handful of snow.
ROLL SNOW You roll the handful of snow around in your hands until it is perfectly rounded.

Note that if you ROLL your snow again, you will see this message:

You smooth your rounded snowball to even further perfection.

 Eratika rolls a handful of snow around in her hands until it is perfectly rounded.

THROW SNOW AT <PERSON> You line up your shot and let the rounded snowball fly!
The rounded snowball hits Trakkar in the face! Nice shot!		 Eratika winds up and hurls a perfectly rounded snowball towards you! At the last moment you try to duck but end up sticking your face right in its path. You shiver as the icy water runs down your neck.
THROW SNOW AT <YOURSELF> You smash the rounded snowball into your face where it quickly melts causing cold water to run down your neck and chill you to the bone.
 Eratika apparently is trying to eat her rounded snowball by smashing it into her face. You notice her shiver as pieces of melting snow run down her neck.
