Located in central Pennsylvania, we started using the kennel name Port Side in 1981 when our first litter of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers was born. Since then, we have been active participants in obedience, conformation, and hunting retriever tests. We currently are involved in the AKC retriever hunting test program both as participants and judges. We are members of the American Chesapeake Club, Inc., a local all breed club, two local retriever clubs, and a local obedience club. Our primary focus is on having great pet, companion, and hunting dogs.
