This is the old sun room. When they re-did this room, they tore out the floor and were amazed to find out this was a porch back in the olden days. I remember Marie (Jones) colored in the whole floor of this porch back when we were kids :). I was pleased at the time because for once it was not ME getting spanked. But - I digress.
The two shots above were taken from the doorway, where you come up the brick steps next to the garage. The chair is basically where Marie's chair would have been, except hers faced out the window. The couch is where the table used to be. They have moved the the wall in the small bathroom, so the little nook-like area where Marie's desk was is now actually inside the bathroom. The right-hand photo shows the opening into the kitchen (previously the room with the glass cabinets, silver, etc.). The TV is sitting where the opening into the old kitchen USED to be.
The third shot was taken from the new kitchen doorway, looking back towards the door, which is just out of sight to the left.
