Pennsylvania DEP area map features
(It will be helpful to print this page)
1) Go to http://www.emappa.dep.state.pa.us/wimw/viewer.htm (Make sure Browser page is full screen or the map will be too small for all displays)
2) Click on “Locate My Address”
3) Type BROOMALL in City block click “submit”
4) Close address link
5) Click on “Zoom Out” on map page
6) Click on bottom center of map 2 times
7) Under the “Features” tab click the boxes next to the “Streams and Water Resources” and “Transportation Networks”.
8) Click “Refresh Map”
9) Click on “Zoom In”
10) Put mouse curser in center of water reservoir on left and hold left mouse button to drag selection square down to just above the lower Route 320 emblem the release.
11) The PULTE property is now about ½ inch right and 1 inch up from center
12) Click on the “Facility” tab
13) Click the box next to the “Encroachment Location”
14) Click “Refresh Map” This will place some data symbols at the Crum Creek Bridge shown flooded out in photos. The symbols are “Wetland Impact”, “Fill Stream Channel” and “Bridge-ENCL”
15) Click the box next to the “Erosion and Sediment Control”
16) Click “Refresh Map” This shows a “Recreational Facility” symbol about 1 ½ miles downstream (below) from the Crum Creek Bridge Wetlands symbol
17) Click the box next to the “Water Pollution Control Facility”
18) Click “Refresh Map” This shows several “Discharge Point-WPCF” symbols on above and below the Erosion Control Recreational Facility symbol. It also shows two “Treatment Plant-WPCF” symbols above the Erosion Control Recreational Facility symbol.
19) Click the box next to the “Water Resource”
20) Click “Refresh Map” This shows a “Ground Water Intake” symbol above the Erosion Control Recreational Facility symbol.
