Royal Express Youth Drill Team is set up for girls ages 12-18. Royal Express was started in 2004 by Coach Crystal. She soon recruited Coach Valerie. Royal Express is represented by a horse rearing through a crown. Our colors are Silver, Pink, and Burgundy. All the girls have been working very hard this year to get the team up and running. From logos, to mottos, to raising money for their uniforms and tack, the girls have all put in 110%. As most can imagine starting up a new team is not only time consuming but stressful, in spite all of this the girls are looking forward to competing, doing parades and having a community serves project. Royal Express not only focuses on team work and having fun but also on good horsemanship skills. It’s very important to the coaches that Royal Express is a safe way to learn all of these skills. Many of are girls are very active in the horse community, competing in many different types of disciplines, from Jumping to reining. We are looking forward to going to competitions with a smile and showing people what a group of determined girls can do.
