(Please send comments or your own lists so I can publish them here)
Our favorite Beers:
  1. Bells Third Coast Ale (Very strong and flavorful.  Tastes like a stout to me.  It's expensive, but worth it) $15 for a six pack -- Wow!
  2. Bells Oberon & Amber (Very similar; Both sweet & smooth with a full bodied taste, Amber is a little sharper)$7-8 for a six pack
  3. Pyramid Apricot Ale (Michele's favorite beer) Can usually get it for about $6-$7 for six
  4. Longshot Hazelnut Brown (Chocolately and nutty sweet goodness) $7 for a six pack
  5. Devil Mountain 5 malt (Smooth and creamy, I only see this when I'm out west though)
  6. Stoney Creek Vanilla Porter (Rich and creamy) $7 for a six pack
  7. Newcastle Brown Ale (need I explain more about this classic? . . .)$9-12
  8. Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat (One of Michele's favorite and one of mine too) just found for $5.75 at Meijers
  9. Bass Ale (Definitely one of our old favorite standby's)$7-8?
  10. Hornsby Dark and Dry Cider Ale (Sweet and full, tastes more like a sparkling wine) $7-8
  11. Heineken Special Dark (Nice roasted taste but not too bitter)
  12. Guinness (Had a bad experience in Aruba but I'm becoming a believer again)
Our favorite Detroit restaurants: (Per person price is for drinks, dinner, salad & tax/tip)
  1. P.F. Changs Chinese Bistro -- Summerset Mall South (Exciting and tasteful chinese food.  Great decor but a little too trendy and nausiating.  Still, the food makes up for the pretentious atmosphere.  Everything we've tried is outstanding) $21/person
  2. L.A. Express Meditteranian Cafe -- Michigan Ave, Downtown Dearborn (They have the most amazing and delicious food which seems more New-Italian than it does Meditteranian.  Great vegetarian options.  Very simple decor.  They don't serve alcohol, but they do allow you to bring your own wine in) $14/person
  3. Too Chez -- I 96 and Novi Rd., Novi (Eclectic/Continental w/ good vegitarian options. Best Decor and Food in the Metro Detroit area.  Similar to Relish except better.) $28/person
  4. Majestic Cafe -- Woodward, Detroit (Great atmoshpere, beer (Bells on tap), bread and food -- Best value also. I highly recommend the Ancho Chicken dinner with a pitcher of Bell's Best Brown or Amber) $18/person
  5. Panera Bread Co. (formerly St. Louis Bread Co.) -- Southfield Rd., Southfield (Great soups and bread, also our favorite bagels. My favorite soup is the french onion but most I've had are good) $7
  6. Relish -- 12 Mile, Farmington Hills (Best bread in town, good creative dishes-good for special occasion. I like the roasted turkey with the sweet sauce. I did not care for the mushroom pasta) $26
  7. Priya -- 15 mile, Troy (Great Indian food with a nice ambience for a change. For a safe and tasty choice, try the tandori chicken or the Muter Paneer. Also order some nan bread) $15
  8. Mongolian Barbeque -- Main Street, Royal Oak (It may be trendy, but I always have fun there) $21

        • Double Jepeoardy  **** Great movie.  I like Ashley Judd and this was her best movie   We certainly went against the critics on this one since they all hated it.
        • Sixth Sense ***1/2 Good movie, but I didn't like it as much as everyone else.
        • Matrix *****  An absolutely incredible "guy" movie.
        • ED TV ***  Very good movie.  We both liked it a lot more than the Truman story.  Ron thinks Elizabeth Hurley should have had a bigger part.  Jenna Alfman looks puffy and sick in the whole movie.
        • October Sky ****1/2  Awesome movie that is suitable for the whole family!  This is one movie that you'll want to take your kids to.  If you liked Stand By Me, you should like this one.
        • You've Got Mail ****1/2  Wow!  We both really liked this movie.  I have yet to find someone that didn't love this movie.  It's definitely a "can't miss".  Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are a great team.
        • Payback ****  This is perfect for anyone who like the tough-guy Mel Gibson movies, but can't take any more "Lethal Weapon" crap!  We liked this a lot.
        • Shakespeare in Love ***1/2  Not bad, but we didn't see what the hype was about.  I thought the plot was lame and didn't pull me in.  Michele rated it a 4 star, while I rated it a 3 star.
        • Rushmore **  This one missed us.  The jokes were lame and the kid was too annoying to watch.  It was certainly off-beat, so if you like that, maybe this is for you.
        • Blast From The Past ****  We liked this movie a lot more than we thought we would.  It's also a good family movie.  We found it very amusing, all the way through.
        • Something About Mary *****  I don't need to say much, this was probably the most hilarious movie I've ever seen.  If you don't think it's funny, then our sense of humor is not compatible.
        • The Wedding Singer *****  What a great movie.  Not as ass-kicking hilarious as "Mary" but very clever and likable.  The story is great and the characters really sucked us in.  This is another "can't miss".
        • The Man in The Iron Mask ****1/2 GREAT MOVIE!! Michele and I bothed loved this movie.  It had a lot of medevil action in it but then again so did Braveheart and we liked that one too.  This movie really left us with a great feeling.
        • LA Confidential ***1/2 Good movie.  As usual, Kevin Spacey was great.  It was definitely worth seeing.
        • Good Will Hunting ****1/2 Great movie about relationships.  Had a lot of 'F' words though.  Ben and Matt are cool dudes.
        • Chasing Amy **** Another great 'relationships' movie but from a totally different angle.  Very shocking movie that's not for everyone.
        • Titanic **** Good movie, didn't seem to be too long either (for a 3 hour movie).  Michele found Leo to be dreamy.
        • Austin Powers *** 1/2 Not bad, perhaps we need to give it another chance.  A lot of our friends either love or hate this movie.  We're somewhere in the middle but we didn't give it our full attention.
        • Breakdown *** Decent movie with Kurt Russell.
        • The Game **** (I liked it a lot.  It was never boring and really made me think. Don said it was too unrealistic for him)
        • Picture Perfect ** 1/2 (just what you'd expect from Jennifer Aniston)
        • Men in Black ** (no plot, good effects)
        • Face Off *** 1/2 (not bad, but had too many 'face off's')
        • My Best Friend's Wedding *** (Not great but had some good moments. Michele and I liked Dermott Mulroney and Rupert Everett)
        • Dante's Peak * (If you like movies that suck, this one's for you! Very cheesy, no character development)
        • Beverly Hills Ninja * 1/2 (Definitely Chris Farley's worst movie that I've seen. Rent Tommy Boy (****) instead if you haven't seen it)
