Reparing hairline cracks on your tennis court

A crack is a crack is a crack...... and whatever cracks currently exist on your tennis court surface will always be on the court. However, repairing the cracks on your court will help prevent them enlarging themselves by keeping out dirt, ice and rain. This will give your tennis court surface a longer life. I highly recommend this method for repairing hairline cracks on your tennis court.

Novacaulk crack repair system
(the best method)

The Novacaulk crack repair system consist of two acrylic crack repair products. Novacaulk #1 and Novacaulk #2.

Novacaulk #1is designed to be placed into the crack and fill the void. It has elastic properties and will adhere to the sides of a crack when the pavement moves. Novacaulk #1 has extraordinary elongation and memory.

Novacaulk #2 has the same properties as Novacaulk #1 plus it has been fortified with unique fibers so that when cured the resultant film actually becomes a non woven fabric.

The Novacaulk system has the ability to tolerate movement of the pavement on both sides of the crack. As the crack becomes wider the Novacaulk repair will actually elongate and the top layer acts as a bridge over the crack. Conversely, as a crack closes, the elastic properties of the Novacaulk system allow the entire crack repair to close with it.

Novacaulk #1 and Novacaulk #2 are applied with a putty knife, and are available in red, dark green, grass green, and gray.

Novacaulk comes in 1 gallon pails or 10 oz caulking tubes.
