Shedding chunks of ice in Denver
Snow kept falling this morning here in the Springs and all the way up to Castle Rock and parts further on, although word on the radio was that Denver was already clear and sunny. Paradoxically, the better the weather got, the slower the traffic went.Made it to my seminar with time to spare for eating the hearty breakfast they provided. Linda from Software AG said I looked awfully familiar.
"I used to go down to El Paso now and then," she said, "back in the 80's when you were still on the WANG."
"I was there in the WANG days," I was forced to admit.
"I never forget a face," she said.
It's a small world, indeed.
