"Top of the world, Ma!"
I took first place in my league's poker game at the This Is It! Lounge last night. That's on top of three second place finishes since Monday last week, and another fourth- and fifth-place in the space of a week and a half. Unfortunately we just started a new session so I only have points from this week's first- and second-place finishes counting towards this summer session. The other wins came too late in the day to make much difference towards the finals coming two Sundays from now (delayed a week due to Father's Day falling right after the semifinals), since I missed a lot of games this session while spending a week in Vegas and subsequently recuperating.
