Who we are: Blue Planet
Earthscapes was founded in 1995 and enoys a good reputation. Blue
Planet is a gathering of
independent gardeners, both experienced and apprentices, who create
organic
beauty for our clients. Together we share our collective knowledge and
ideas to
keep ourselves and our beloved gardens healthy and growing. Blue Planet
practices basic whole system gardening and teaches these skills to
beginning
"seedling" gardeners through hands-on work and interpretation in the
garden. This is the proven way to learn gardening, with apprentice and
experienced gardeners moving through the seasons together, asking and
answering
questions. Ongoing educational programs are given by Becky Elder,
owner
of Blue Planet Earthscapes. She teaches gardening and horticultural
programs for El Paso County
Cooperative Extension, Gardening in the Pikes Peak Region, School
District 14 Adult-Ed, Pikes Peak
Permaculture, Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission, the Central
Rocky
Mountain Permaculture Institute (Basalt, Co.) and for privately
sponsored
events.
What we do: Blue Planet offers a full range of landscaping services. From the vision to the fruit of those visions and, within our network of independents, you can find reliable maintenance, backup support for big jobs, people to water pots and check on things for vacations and cheerful help for the unexpected crisis project. Through the Blue Planet Earthscapes network, our efforts are multiplied to create beautiful year round gardens, landscapes, and grounds. We work year round with installations and maintenance from spring into fall and in the winter we complete jobs such as creating new beds, pruning, mulching and design work.
