USOF Policy -- LISTING EVENTS IN THE USOF CALENDAR

The Calendar is the official meet schedule of USOF and will be published in the official news of the federation.

1. Class "A" events will be listed using information obtained from the Sanctioning Committee.
2. Class "B" events will be listed as space is available at the discretion of the calendar editor.
3. The USOF Convention will be listed when the site is approved by the Board of Directors.
4. International events which may have special interest to U.S. orienteers will be listed if requested by the Team Coach.
5. Training camps, seminars, mapping clinics, etc. held by USOF member or associate clubs or USOF committees will be listed if they are of significance to more than a local area. A multi-day event or event sponsored by the federation would automatically qualify.
6. National Orienteering Day, the third weekend in September.
