This year we are again at the beautiful Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. They are providing us with the special room rate of $116 per night double occupancy; $119 three people; $129 four people (no pets allowed). Don’t be left out! Thursday Night Kick-Off Dance

Join us at the hotel on Thursday evening July 9th for our traditional event kickoff party. Fun things are in store for all those in attendance - LOTS of open dancing to a variety of music, raffles, door prizes, and more!  Also featured will be the Bushwhackers Pattern Dance Challenge and Duke’s Line Dance Challenge Finals -  an event you won’t want to miss. Admission just is $10 at the door.

 

Friday Night Free Public Workshops

No event pass required. If you’ve never been to a dance event before, now is your chance to check one out risk free! Join us on Friday evening for a friendly look at what couples and line dancing is all about. Three hours of beginning level dance instruction in country two step, night club two step, and line dance will be offered FREE to the public starting Friday at 6:00p.m. This is one social occasion you won’t want to miss. Bring your friends!

 

Weekend Workshops

 

Couples Instruction featuring (invited) Glenn & Sue Cravalho, Doug Davidson & Annick Paquet, Keith & Jena Armbruster, Chris & Becky Haynam, Christopher Hussey & Katrina Branson, Rob Ingenthron, Craig Johnson & Joan Lundahl, Chris Jones, Michelle Kinkaid, Aaron & Tiffany Lorenzen, Chris & Michelle Small, and more.

 

Line Dance Instruction featuring Michael Barr, Michele Burton, Michele Perron, Jo Miller and DJ extraordinaire Brian Bull.

 

Couples Workshops begin at 10:00 am Friday and continue through Sunday afternoon. A large variety of classes will be offered for all levels of dance focusing on fun social dance moves, lead and follow, technique, music interpretation, and more. The schedule will be available in mid June.

 

Couples All Star Workshops will be taught on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday by our Master level professionals who specialize in the latest and most innovative patterns, techniques, and dances. These workshops are $6 each or you may pre-register for a Gold Card for $42 (which includes eight All Star workshops). If you are an Everything Package or Weekend pass holder, you may purchase additional workshop Gold Cards at the event. These cards can be shared by more than one person. All other workshops come with your 3-day or 1-day event registration pass.

 

Line Dance Workshops start at 12:30 pm Friday and are all included with your 3-day weekend or 1-day pass purchase.

 

Beginning Level Workshops: if you are just starting out, or would like to brush up on your basics, beginning level classes will be available throughout the weekend starting Friday at 6 pm. Taught by top ranked national and local instructors, these classes are sure to get your feet moving in the right direction.
