• Church World Service - Offers worldwide services to people in need. Soon I'll post pictures of our recent CROP Walk for the Hungry in Bridgeton. See also the"Have a Heart" kits; our youth group puts them together, with the congregation supplying the needed items.
  • World Alliance of Reformed Churches - An alliance linking more than 75 million Reformed Protestant Christians around the world. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is a member. "The aims of the Alliance are to strengthen the unity and witness of Reformed churches, to interpret and reinterpret the Reformed tradition, to work for peace, economic and social justice, human rights, and the integrity of the environment, to promote fully inclusive community, and to further dialogue with other Christian communions and other religions."
  • The Silvan S. Tomkins Institute is dedicated to the study of human emotion. The Institute teaches the psychology of affect and the scripts through which we manage it, as well as the systems of personal growth and repair made possible by the work of Tomkins and Donald L. Nathanson.
  • Susan Ohanian Speaks Out - Susan is the author of many books and articles, including One Size Fits Few, the Folly of Educational Standards (published by Heinemann). She is an outspoken advocate for children, teachers, and education and an opponent of high-stakes standardized testing.
