How We Got Started

In the summer of 2002 we (my mom and I ,Rebecca) started making ice cream with an ice cream maker that we bought at a yard sale on our street. The first time we made ice cream we made chocolate and we got it all wrong because there were these big clumps of cream in it. Then we read the instructions, which we hadn't done the first time because we had guessed! The next time we got it right! These days we get it right too! And we are happy to present to you "Becca's Best".

One day in the fall a friend of mine came over. That friend was named Sara. We made Kiwi Sorbet with Sara with our ice cream maker. After we had some Kiwi Sorbet, my mom (susan) and I asked Sara if she thought that we were good enough to go into business. She said yes! Then we forgot about it for a few weeks, until one day when I was hanging out I thought..."I want to have a business. What should I do for a business?" Then on a piece of paper I drew this picture of this kind of stand that people who sell ice cream in the summer use. my mom and I were in the picture. We were giving ice cream to someone who bought it. And so Becca's Best is a business these days.

I like to be called Rebecca not Becca and I'm 8
years old in third grade. I'll be 9 in March, 2005. I go to the Hosmer Elementary School in Watertown, MA. And my favorite hobby is swimming.
