The 2005 Rising Star Quilt Show

The 18th annual Quilt Show and Sale was held on
Saturday and Sunday, October 1st & 2nd
at Belmont High School
221 Concord Ave., Belmont, Massachusetts.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to REACH, Beyond Domestic Violence.

Presenting the Benefit Quilts

At this fall’s quilt show in Belmont, Rising Star Quilters presented a over 50 Benefit quilts and several teddy bears to Welcome Baby, Germaine Lawrence and Reach.

A queen size, 90"x96" hand quilted, Batik quilt.

The quilt pattern, known by the names Anvil or Double Cross, radiates outward in seven steps from a teal blue center to a dark purple edge. There are six different color triangles within each block, and the corners are Rising Star blocks. It is hand quilted using a variegated thread.
