- 1947: Albert A. Scattergood moves from Boston to Bass River, Cape Cod and moves in with "May" Scattergood Baker; he works as independent taxi driver until ca. 1950 when he was hired as a "steak cook" for The Peter Pond Club in Barnstable.
Father refused membership in the Christian Science Church of Hyannis - the only time I ever saw my father cry - but was later admitted into the church as a regular member.
Attend sunday school at the Christian Science Church in Hyannis until junior high school.
