3 / 13 / 2004 Back in Fuzhou The night train from Guangze got into Fuzhou at 6:20am. We caught a cab back to the Lakeside Hotel and Schell got us checked in and then we said goodbye. He was a fantastic help in making our trip to Guangze a success. We went upstairs to our room to clean up and rest. We started downloading pictures from our digital camera. It was sure fun to look at Rubys pictures! We knew that two other families were checked in already and near us. We heard some noise in the hallway so we went out to say hello. The Schumans are here from Bellevue, WA. Pam and Craig have two daughters, Megan (12) and Kara (15). Their daughters are here with them. Wendy was also here with her friend Piper. Wendy's daughter is from Guangze also. We enjoyed showing Wendy and Piper photos and video of Wendy's daughter Jia Huan. We all went down to the Breakfast buffet and had a great meal. We really enjoy having the buffet to start the day. The other families wanted to go exploring. We just felt like relaxing and trying to get caught up on our website. I took a nap in the late morning while Julie went out. She then crawled into bed and crashed out. That night we went downstairs with Pam and Craig and had dinner. We enjoyed getting to know our travel mates. Their daughters didn't make it to dinner as they were already asleep. The jet lag is a little tough at first. We stayed up late trying to get caught up on this site and pictures. Tomorrow is the day!
