Hello and Welcome to the Schlosser Family Tree. It is linked to my other trees of Edelstein and Giddings. I hope that this is educational for you and your descendants. Charles Schlosser came to Syracuse NY from St. Julian Germany in the Mosel River area with his brothers Jacob, Henry, Peter, Nicholas and Ludwig (Louis) in the mid 1800's. The German immigrants helped build up the North side of Syracuse and Charles even donated a small park in front of his wagonmakin business which is still called Schlosser Park. Syracuse is rich in historical info and I have access to the newspaper archives. Please see the link on Syracuse. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mstone/
Peter was a Captain in the Civil War, Henry and Jacob were also in wagonmaking and blacksmithing professions. |
