Talk to anyone about diesel stoves (that hasn't owned one) and they'll say "oh man they can realy heat up a boat" - true to a point. Problem is that hot air rises and if you mount a heater at the highest point in a boat, then the lower areas can still be quite cold. In both boats that I have owned with diesel heaters the heater was at the highest part of the boat. In this boat the wheelhouse gets like the face of the sun, while the rest of the boat stays cold. I have created a device to move air down using an angel food cake pan, dryer vent hose and a computer case fan.
