The band Monarch were perhaps the greatest doom-metal band going. And then they broke up. Not only were they heavier than the line waiting to get into the Old Country Buffet on coupon nights, but the lead singer is a gorgeous girl who loves to take the piss (slang for joke around- that shirt is a play on Minor Threat's "Out of Step"). Look at how fucking great their T-shirts are. I'm so in love:

Want photos of my 30th bday party? Click here. Maybe you heard about it, maybe you didn't. And maybe you don't give a fuck. It was at New Harmony Vegetarian in Chinatown and there were two bands that played: Prabir and The Substitutes, as well as Hoots and Hellmouth. Both write super-duper catchy songs. And both bands were nicer and sweeter than a strawberry-rhubarb pie. I whole-heartedly endorse both bands. Thanks again for their participation. Please check them out.
