NORTH AUGUSTA BELVEDERE RADIO CLUB
Meeting Minutes for January 2008
This meeting was held at the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta South Carolina, on January the 14th. Ten of our members were present.
Treasurer’s Report:
Tom Arnold –W4KVF gave the report.
Committee Reports:
Dick Schoenfelder—K4FKJ reported.
The repeater was up and running as normal. There had been no problems as a result of a cell phone company installing equipment at the site.
Charlie Miller –AE4UX reported on the SCHEARTS linked repeater system.
Mark Ledford—KG4IUQ reported. The December 30th Carolina State Line net had been held simplex. Check-ins and net activity were normal.
The "Save the World Adventure Race" was coming up in McCormick on May 3rd and 4th.
A Motocross race in Jefferson County was coming up on February 2nd and 3rd. Anyone interested in helping with the motocross race, please contact Henry (KN4AV) on the 145.490 repeater.
Old Business
Decisions were made about the design of our club flag.
James Tarpley (KN4UE) was providing training classes for the ARMC radio station. All persons interested in attending the upcoming class on Wednesday January 23rd, please contact James Tarpley if you have not already done so.
New Business
Our next Foxhunt will be held on Saturday, March 22nd.
