The meeting was held at North Augusta PS Station #2 in North Augusta, SC.

Secretary’s Report
Secretary Steve Czaikowski, W8SC read the minutes of the May 8 meeting.
Repeater trustee Dick Schoenfelder had nothing new to report.
ARRL South Carolina Section Emergency Coordinator Charlie Miller AE4UX, and Section Manager Jim Boehner N2ZZ, will be traveling the state and visiting various sites during Field Day this year.
KQ4KK reported that the SCRA had a mass casualty exercise on May 28. Aiken Regional Medical Center participated. APRS trackers were put into 4 ambulances and enabled tracking via amateur radio.
KQ4KK reported that 6 classes were held at Schofield Middle School before the school year ended, and they will resume in the fall.
KQ4KK moved, W8LVL seconded a motion that the next set of ARRL books be donated to the North Augusta Public Library; motion unanimously approved.
A discussion on Field Day 2009 was lead by President Carl Bosard AJ4AU. The membership voted that the club will purchase food for Field Day. N4AGG will provide the HF antenna. AJ4AU will provide the HF rig and tuner. Set up will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday June 27.
