Tone Down the "Jeep" looking grill.

May not be everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to make the RX 300 look a little more distinctive. The grill on the '99 wasn't really chrome looking, but had these reflective (almost chrome) look. Here's how to tone down the reflection.

The Grill is easily removed and spray painted with Trim Black spray paint. This is a paint that covers and sticks to chrome and plastic surfaces. It is just enough to give the subtle blackened grill effect.

To remove the grill, open the hood and remove the 6 nuts that hold it in place.

Once the grill is out, remove the center logo. Paint and reassemble.
