RX 300 Tail light bulb replacement. To replace the bulbs when burned out, pry out the 2 plastic caps over the screws shown here, one over the other when the rear hatch is open (right light assembly shown). Remove both screws.

The lamp housing (lens) is removed by pulling straight back. [see second pic] The pop fastener "A" and "a" must come apart in two places. You may need to pry the lens housing out (toward the rear) by using something that will not damage the paint or plastic like a flat thin paint stirrer. Be careful not to damage anything. Twist out the lamp holder (connector) "B" and pull out the lamp from the connector base. Replace the lamp. The dual filament is a 7443. Unscrew bayonet type lamp base "B" (about 1/2 turn). Remove & replace lamp. It is best not to but (touch) finger prints on the new lamp. Clean with alcohol if necessary (especially for halogen lamps in the front light assemblies). |

| How about the lamps in the hatch back door? They are even easier. Remove the inner panel, also pop fastners. You will see the back of the light assemblies. Remove the lamp socket (1/2 turn), replace bulb. | ||||||
