This American history class will cover a variety of different historical topics including military, political, economic, social, and cultural history. The chronology of covered material begins with the Civil War and ends with U.S. involvement in World War II.

One of the goals of this class will be to cover the material found in the Massachusetts Frameworks. Other goals include critical thinking, developing theses, and defending historical positions.
