This is my 1985 RZ350.  I bought this bike in 1992.  The previous owner had installed a K&N filter kit and Factory pipes.  All I did at that time was add a steering dampener and eliminate the rear fender.  It had been wrecked when I bought it, but not bad enough to flex the frame.  I put about 10,000 miles on it.  Some were on the racetrack at Road Atlanta.  In 1996 I completely stripped the bike down to the frame, cleaned and replaced some chassis parts, and rebuilt the motor.  While I had the pipes off I noticed they were about rusted through in the header area.  So I replaced them with DGs.  The DGs are decent pipes, but not as good as the Factory ones.  I also did some mild porting, installed Boyseen reeds, stainless brake lines, and a Telefix fork brace.

I decided to keep the stock look and not go any further with chassis modifications.  Instead I purchased another 1984 RZ350 to do all the popular FZ and FZR conversions.  See the RZ350R Project page for my progress.
