Friend's Bikes
This is a picture of my friend Chris Matthew's RZ350. Chris's got this bike in boxes and after a few months he had it back together along with some nice modifications. It has a FZR400 front end with EBC rotors, stainless brake lines, and an Aerobics fairing. The carburetors are from a RD350. If you look closely at the clutch cover you can see where he cut out the center and put a piece of Plexiglas in. Looks real neat when the bike is running. The port work was done by Chris himself. Other mods include a FZR600 rear wheel, DG pipes, stainless brake lines, and a Fox Twin Clicker shock.
The is Chris's Triumph 955 Daytona. As you can see it likes curvy roads.
This is Chris's Yamaha RD400 racer. It has 28mm flatslide carburetors, RZ350 reedblocks, Chris's own concoction of portwork, 140 psi of static compression, Pro Flo pipes, a motoplat ignition, works performance shocks, custom installed cartridge emulators in the stock 34mm forks, bronze swing arm bushings, tapered steering stem bearings. It produces 62.8 hp. It's not the most powerful RD out there, but it is reliable.
