Welcome
to Eye Pop Art
Christine
Claringbold of Portland, Oregon brings you a kaleidoscopic
array of original designs to help you decorate your home and
brighten up your world. Featuring mandala art, home decor,
and accessories made from recycled vinyl records and other
repurposed materials.
Featured
Product: Mandala Pinwheels

The
pinwheels are made from recycled vinyl records. They are hand
painted with acrylics in my original design. The painted records
have been sliced and shaped into a pinwheel design, then mounted
onto painted metal stakes and finished with a groovy vintage
radio knob.
Created
for Live Debris 2009,
a traveling series of events and installations dedicated to
sharing and establishing new reuse traditions as a way of
reducing stigmas around garbage, poverty and street culture.
The pinwheels were installed on the Eastbank Esplanade along
the Willamette River waterfront in Portland, OR for the Live
Debris event. Now you can have one for your yard or garden!
