My son, Julius Elvis Chaos Claringbold, age 11, has created so many cool characters that we just had to see what they would look like on a tee shirt. He is now managing his own shop on Cafe Press. You can also find his comic books at Guapo and Tender Loving Empire in Portland.

Watch me on HGTV

One of my segments on HGTV's show "Look What I Did!" aired for the third time on December 25 at 5:00 pm ET/PT. The segment, called "Psychedelic in Portland," is all about my master bedroom/studio/home office and how I turned it into a mandala-filled wonderland of psychedelic undulations. Please watch this site for more information on the two episodes featuring my crazy home in Portland, Oregon (the other one is about my kitchen). This is a picture of the awesome crew who came over for 12 hours of fun and psychedelia!

Don't forget "That's Clever!"
Watch me on HGTV's "That's Clever!"

The show, episode HCLVR-364, aired on December 14 at 11:00 am ET/PT. I showed the world how to paint a snowman on a vinyl record and turn it into a fabulous bowl.

Here's a picture from that day (it was only a 6 hour day, no problem!)

Visit hgtv.com for instructions on making your own bowl.

Rave Review from National Geographic Traveler

"Portland's Christine Claringbold (working as Eye Pop Art) rescues LPs from obsolescence by giving them new life as vibrantly painted bowls, mirrors, clocks and decorative mandalas. Traveler researcher Jessie Johnston enjoys Claringold's free-hand geometric designs that range from intense monochromes to psychedelic colorfests and black-and-white mod throwbacks. This vinyl revival is an affordable way to brighten up any iPod-age abode."
