(SL001) Many bigger-than-life Native American statues by a renowned sculptor were displayed in SLC during the Games.
(SL012) "Lucky Dice": A pair of crystal dice on a colorful mirrored background.
(SL007) "Rack em up!" Pool balls loosely racked between two crossed pool cues.
(SL004) This dramatically lit still life is called "Timepieces". You can see the blurring of the clock pendulum as time passes.
(SL011) This wood and brass still life makes me think of the ocean. The chiseled old man could be a sailor whose seen many days on the water.
(SL005) These road signs and barricades piled along the street caught my eye and seemed an interesting subject for a photo.
(SL003) One of my interests is writing. Though I do most of it on computer, I gathered together some of the more old-fashioned writing tools for this shot.
(SL006) This front-on shot of this old classic automobile makes a great image. I know little about cars but even I can appreciate their beauty.
(SL008) This looks like a hot-rod from the fifties with its flaming paint job and big fluffy dice hanging from the interior mirror.
(SL009) This interior shot makes you want to climb right behind the wheel of this little roadster and sink into its white leather seats.
(SL010) I don't generally photograph a wheel and tire, but this was eye-catching enough to make me point my camera in its direction. You can even partially see me with my camera reflected in the hub.
(SL002) This statue of the Indian woman walking over a bridge with her dog and two sheep seems out of place, the rural in the city, and yet it belongs at the same time.
(SL013) These apples of red and green looked so good I had to take a taste.
(SL014) A close-up shot of my acoustic guitar. Filling most of the frame you can really see the richness of the wood and its beautiful design.
