My web site is about my Scott and Skidmore Family.
William Alexander Scott, has been reported as being
born in Glasgow and coming to the infant country of America. He lived in
Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and finally Alabama. Where he died.
His family members then spread out from there. My branch moved from
Madison County to Mississippi and then to Ellis County, Texas. Finally,
settling in Fannin County, Texas. Which is where I was born.
The Skidmore's have been dated back as far as approx.
1210 to England. My branch of the Skidmore family have lived in the
southeastern United States and ending up in Lamar County, Texas.
Both families spread out through the whole of the
United States.
This is a continual work in progress. I do hope that
the information I have found either through personal research or the
help of others will aid other Scott and Skidmore researchers. If you
