Aunt Gena is doing well! She completed her last week of physical therapy last week and now will be on her own. Kris has been taking her to therapy and says she is doing well. She was in Physical Therapy (PT) because of the hip fracture suffered last summer at the time of the family reunion. She had surgery in August, went to Rogers City for PT afterwards and then home for more PT, but it has done remarkable things for her, she has more range of motion than she did before and her arms are much stronger too along with her legs. A long recovery but she has done it!

Mary Lou and Suzanne returned last Tuesday from a week in Florida with Dianne and Jim. They went shopping with the “shop-a-holic” Dianne and got some great buys. They went to two flea markets in which Suzanne was in “7th heaven”. They didn't find much there, but had fun looking!

Peggy & Tom saw Uncle Don & Aunt Betty at the movies on Sunday (Feb 6th) at E-magine Theaters in Novi... what a surprise! They were all actually in the same theater but didn't realize it until after the movie. They saw "Million Dollar Baby". A very good movie, but not a comedy. A sad story.

Family History Project
Mark Wilson
cwilson@freeway.net
Tuesday February 08, 2005 17:20:09

Please fill in an information form for all of your family members, NOT just the Socolovitch family members. This includes all husbands, children (including step children, deceased, etc.). In fact, this will be a good way for the kids to learn about what we are doing and why. As they filling out their form they also learn a lot about themselves. If you have a family member that doesn’t have access to a computer, they can request that a form be mailed/given to them. Mark and Lorie have paper copies ready to go!

Sisters’ Gambling Day

About once a month, Aunt Marge, Aunt Ann, Aunt Barb, Aunt Gert, and Aunt Helen try to get together in Windsor to go to the casino! They all don’t make it all of the time, but they try! Uncle Don & Aunt Betty saw Aunt Marge & Aunt Ann there a couple of weeks ago. Aunt Marge won $100 last Friday on a 1 cent slot machine, with only 5 cents played. Pretty good winnings, and she took it home rather than leaving it there.

Email from Above

Lorie was taken aback when emails arrived in her inbox from “heaven.com”! Four emails arrived from Martha, Phillip, Willie, and David @heaven.com. Mark and Char entered their family information this weekend including the information for Aunt Mart, Uncle Willie, Phil and David. Since the form required them to put in an email address, being the pranksters that they are, they put in a heavenly address for each of them. We all got a good laugh from it… it really made Lorie do a double-take!
Side Note: This project is time consuming, but is it also very fun! Please don’t consider it a “chore” – have fun with us instead!
