ST.CHARLES EAST FOOTBALL BOOSTERS MEETING

June 10, 2009

Present: John Payne, Janet Carrano, Cathey and Rod DeVries, Joe/Cathy Possley, Molly and Jack Bradburn, Kathy and Tim Russell, Blake Barry, Mary Streidl, Tim Hovious, Tom and Astra Lindholm, John DeMartino, Kurt Lanthier, Kelly Kelley, Dallas Buccaro, Laura Scotelllo

Welcome and Call to Order:

• The meeting was called to order by President John Payne @ 7:05 P.M.

May Minutes:

Motion to approve the April minutes was made by Tom Lindholm, 2^nd by Mary Striedl, approved by all.

Treasurer’s Report:

• The club’s available funding as of June 10, 2009 is approximately $4096.00
• One expenditure of $1414.00 was made for the purchase of spirit wear tee shirts.

Central Boosters Update:

• Central Boosters did not submit any items at this meeting requiring the Football Boosters vote.
• Last Central Booster Activity was student athlete physicals which approximately 500 were given.

President’s Report:

• Parent meeting with Coach Fields scheduled for June 18^th at 7:00 in the commons.
• The new stadium flags are now hung in Norris Stadium.

2009 Programs Update:

• Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, August 10^th at the Royal Hawk; and is being chaired by Tim Russell and Kurt Lanthier. Looking to drive larger attendance with incoming freshman class. Would like Coaches help with obtaining a list of e-mail addresses of players parents that are not currently active boosters.
• Spirit Wear
• Two new tee-shirt designs with new logo are available.

• Game Programs - Joe Possley began ad sales campaign for 2009 season program book.
• Personal ads can be purchased for $25.00.
• Business Ad Pricing:
• $50.00 Credit Card Size
• $250.00 Half Page
• $400.00 Full Page
• $500.00 Inside Cover (These may be sold, please see Joe)
• Kathy Possley is collecting baby pictures of senior players for the program, please kindly put name on envelope and forward to Kathy.
• Varsity Gold – Todd Striedl set up meeting with Coach Fields for June 12^th

Old Business:

• Buttons and Magnets program will be chaired by Kelly Kelley and Dallas Buccaro.

New Business:

• Sign up for the Senior Dinner on Thursday nights will be available at the Black/Orange Game dinner.

Meeting was adjourned @ 8:00 P.M.

Next meeting will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 @ 7:00 P.M. Room: Visiting Team Room / Northeast Corner of the Main Gym
