Age & Sex: Adult Female
In this kingfisher, the (unnaturally) blue crest closely matches the back color and the blue breast band apparently lacks rufous or brown flecking. These characters indicate an adult. The rufous breast band is broad and unbroken, indicating this bird is a female.
