Organization Purpose

Your Retired CenterPoint Energy Employees Club is a 501(c)(4)non-profit organization that meets for lunch three times a year and contributes income only to 501(c)(3) charities.  At the luncheon, retirees enjoy mingling with fellow retirees, hear a presentation from one of the company's officers, and have an opportunity to receive one of many door prizes in a drawing at the close of the meeting.  Your club has officers who are elected at the May luncheon each year and are responsible for the luncheons, contributions made to various charities, as well as general oversight of the club.  All Centerpoint/HLP/Entex retirees are invited to participate... there is no membership fees.

Upcoming Luncheon

The next luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, December 10, at the Hobby Airport Marriott Hotel on the Gulf Freeway.  We will gather at 11:00 am in the atrium, Ballroom doors will open at 11:30 am, and we begin eating at 11:45 am.  The entertainment will be the Customer Service Choir.

The lunch is $10 for the retiree and one spouse/guest.  If you wish to bring more than one person with you, the third meal is $15.

Directions to Hotel

To get to the hotel, take the following instructions.  While traveling south, take Exit 35 (Airport Blvd.) and follow the feeder to the hotel.  Traveling north, take the Monroe Exit and make a U-turn at the intersection and travel south under the Metro Parking overpass to the hotel entrance.

PLEASE NOTE:  The rear entrance to the hotel has changed for security reasons.  You can access the parking lot from the rear.  You MUST leave via the Gulf Freeway feeder, as there are one-way spikes to prevent you from exiting the rear entrance.
