Requirements
- Furnish Hebrew Name - from clergy, Hebrew
Marriage Certificate (Katuba), or from family in English Phonetic
Translation (if they are unable to read Hebrew.)
- If they read Hebrew, they can furnish the
inscription in Hebrew Cursive (handwriting) for translation into
spacerites. A correct Hebrew Name contains (in Hebrew) the first
name of the deceased
and the first name of his or her father = As: (Saul Son Of Meyer).
- About half the time the English and
Hebrew
names sound the same, but be careful the other half the time, they are
different !
- Give date of death and determine if death
occurred before or after sundown, as this will determine the correct
Hebrew Date. In a Hebrew Calendar, the next day begins at
sundown- not at 12:01 AM. The Hebrew date is furnished from your
English date & TIME.
- Advise if this is a duplicate or
duplicate
lettering and furnish a rubbing as this will tell if the Hebrew word
for
"Died" is required as well as other information.
