Goats and Greens

We are back from Rhode Island and a wonderfully relaxing trip. Not much sun overall, but lots of fun at the beach anyway.  We took a trip up to see Carolyn at Glocester Greens and Goats and got to visit with six new baby goats.  We brought some of their trademark greens home - they are by far the most unbelievable greens I’ve ever had.  If you are within a 2-hour drive to Glocester, RI, it is definitely worth the trip!  We also left with some feta cheese made with goats milk.  Once back in PA we got some PA Proud turkey tenderloins at Weis Markets.  It’s nice to see markets trying to get into the local quest.  Tossed together, we had once again a bi-local dinner to celebrate our fabulous vacation and return home to PA.
