Origin of McIntyre Name
		The name McIntyre originated Scotland as MacIntyre, which in Gaelic is "Mac-anTsaoir" and means son of the carpenter.  We're doing more research on Clan McIntyre, and expect to add more information to this page in the future. The background design on this page is the McIntyre tartan.
