Nancy's background
is in the field of communications.
She has lived in Quincy for many years and is very proud of the
history
of the city. Many of her
photographs are of Quincy and the surrounding South Shore area.
Nancy has done a lot of traveling in America and Europe with her
husband
George, who is a former Merchant Mariner. George
and Nancy's love of the sea is another subject you will see in her
photographs.
Over the last few years Nancy started entering her photographs in
local
competitions, she has received:
- Honorable Mention for her John
Adams door from the New England Camera Club Council
- 2nd place in the color category at
Quincy ArtsFest in 2000
- 1st place in the Historic Quincy
category at Quincy's First Night competition in 2001 & 2002
- 1st place at ArtsFest 2001 for the
best Quincy Park photograph
- 1st place at ArtsFest 2002 for the
best Quincy Photograph
- 2nd place at the Quincy Art
